Spring vibration isolators are commonly specified beneath air handling units, pumps, fans and cooling towers where lower natural frequency is required.
Correct load distribution and leveling are important. Each isolator should carry the intended portion of the total equipment weight, with consideration for the center of gravity.
For suspended equipment and ductwork, spring hangers can interrupt the vibration path through threaded rods and support structures.
